Watch the #NotSoFilmy Diwali Song #NayiSubah, composed by Uday Benegal, Monica Dogra and Prateek Kuhad. The song has been composed in response to the challenge thrown by Vivo Smartphones India to create the first ever #NotSoFilmy Diwali Song.
The three musicians managed to take time out to work on the single. They have been Skyping regularly, and have also been meeting up, whenever possible, to work on this song.
Considering the three musicians come from three distinct styles, Monica, Uday & Prateek had a blast combining their talents. It was a journey of discovery. The song evolved into an upbeat tune of celebration and love; exactly what is needed this Diwali.
